I would go with a school that is affiliated to a standard/well recognized board (CBSE or ICSE). Even if you leave aside the nuances of each of these boards, the fact that the school is affiliated to something potentially ensures a baseline standard on what the school may offer.
Given that in India education has become a money making machine (business) and a whole suite of "International" schools popping up everywhere I will definitely be wary of schools that are not affiliated to a board.
Assuming the school is affiliated to a board - it then becomes an individual's choice I guess.
Sheelu - Can you share your thoughts on this - given that you asked the question?

I would really not like to comment on my question as the poll is on but will definitely do so once the its time frame gets over. As far as affiliation is concerned, every school has to be affiliaited to a board. . The three major boards are state board, and the the two national boards namely the CBSE and The ICSE. Some schools which are international or have a very innovative program opt for the UK based IGCSE board.,
To me not all international schools are bad but yes some are spinning money by labelling them selves as international and yet offering National Or State board. Such schools have neither international staff or students or an International curriculum..
We need to keep away from such schools.
I called Krm NPS today, they said they will start calling from today and process will be over by end of this week .
Dear All,
Please let me know if anyone has received call from NPS koramangala or hsr branch.
Thanks in advance.

Sh
