Review for Chirec Public School (Kondapur)
Bad Experience with Chirec, Hyderabad

I had a really bad experience with Chirec school in hyderabad. We wanted to get our daughter admitted in nursery in this school. Before coming to Hyderabad, I was told that chirec is a great school and right from the beginning i was waiting for there advertisment to come out.
As scheduled the Ad came and we were amongst the first parents to get the application form etc and apply for admission. As stipulated we got called for the interview (again we went on the first day) and then asked to wait for the result. Later after a month we recieved an email saying that the admission was confirmed and we can come for discussion and to pay the fee. We went on the appointed date and were asked to meet the vice principal. When we went to her office, we were informed (to our dissappointment) that there was a "clerical mistake" and our child wasnt through yet. She asked us to wait and we went back hoping that we will get the call again. The call never came again. Later when i went back to find out in February, they said that all the seats were closed now.
That was still OK, what i felt really bad about was that my manager had joined my company in Feb and he was also looking for admission for his kid. He had just relocated from USA and he went to Chirec to find out if there were seats available in March and surprisingly they had available admission at that time. So the reason my kid was rejected was because maybe my job (as a parent) and designation were not good enough for the school.
Now going to pay the fees next week. It was very quick this year. Has anyone else got the call for provisional admission?

i was a student of chirec for nearly 10yrs!!
it was a rollercoaster kind of an experience at chirec..
i was average at studies n pretty good in sports..
In chirec, the students who do well in smethng,,say studies, are encouraged more n more to do well....but the students who r just avg or below avg r completely left out..nevr encouraged properly...same goes with the sports as well..
i was initially good at sports n all the teachers had gven me gr8 support..but in studies,i was jus avg..no teacher use to cum up n speak to me..probably they xpectd me to approach them..but all students dont do tat..anyway with a lot of struggle me myself worked hard n did well...
but on the whole,,the all round developement is always good at chirec!!
If you take away all the hype and hoolah, Chirec is a very ordinary school charging high fees with a stiff upper lip attitude. Their focus is more on extra curricular activities than studies. My child is currently studying in Chirec and this is based on my personal experience and also the same has been shared by several of my friends and colleagues.
Yes i am 100per agree with your comment they do lot of preparation before parent teacher meeting to show them the best but no bode is happy(teacher/parents) with them.....

i dont think chirec is a ordinary school it one of the in hyderabad and has proper teaching system
I did the initial phases what praveen did. iam waiting for the applications to be downloaded in nov - dec. i hope my relocation plan works. iam keenly waiting as my kids are in to 7th and 1st grades and hope i dont see any disappointments related to position and recommendations.
